Special Meeting of Council

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby move into closed session pursuant to the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, Section 239 (2) (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby direct staff to carry out all actions as approved in the July 6th, 2023, closed session of Council.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the open session agenda dated July 6th, 2023, as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the minutes of the June 27th, 2023 meetings of Council and Committee of the Whole, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time and be finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding: 51-2023: Being a By-Law to Amend By-Law 12-2023, Being a By-Law to Appoint Community Members to Various Boards, Committees and Commissions for the Town of Bancroft 52-2023: Being a By-Law to Prohibit and Regulate Noise within the Town of Bancroft. 53-2023: Being a By-Law to Amend Schedule "A" to By-Law No. 93-2022; Being the Administrative Monetary Penalties System By-Law.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the meeting of Council held on July 6th, 2023 be hereby given a first, second and third reading, and be finally passed, signed, sealed and numbered By-Law 54-2023.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Regular Meeting of Council hereby close at 3:35pm.
