Special Meeting of Council

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the open session agenda dated June 27th, 2023, as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the minutes of the meeting of Council held on June 7th, 2023, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby direct that the prepared forms for the North Hastings Community Centre be approved for use, non-resident user fees be implemented, as well as associated procedures, as amended to adjust rates.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft hereby accepts the recommendation to Council and directs Treasury Staff to vest roll #1262-064-015-09200 and roll #1262-064-015-09250, write off all taxes and penalties to date on the account, and any other associated procedures required to complete vesting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does direct the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft and the Corporation of the City of St. Catharines to provide emergency communication services (Fire Department Dispatch) until December 31, 2037.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive and file the WSIB article regarding Occupational Health and Safety.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby agree to change the payable name for the Community Grant Donation , as approved by Council in the June 7th, 2023 meeting, to include "C/O Bancroft North Hastings Heritage Museum".

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby authorize the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to sign the Audit Planning Report Acknowledgment from Baker Tilly KDN LLP, as presented

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time and be finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding: By-Law 49-2023 Being a By-Law to Authorize the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding and Lease Agreement with the North Hastings Heritage Museum.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the meeting of Council held on June 27th, 2023 be hereby given a first, second and third reading, and be finally passed, signed, sealed and numbered By-Law 50-2023.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Regular Meeting of Council hereby close at 5:39pm.
