BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time and be finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding: By-Law No. 31-2016: Being a by-law to adopt the estimates of all sums required during the year for the purposes of the Municipality and to provide for the adoption of tax rates and to further provide for penalty and interest in default of payment thereof for 2016. By-Law No. 32-2016: Being a by-law to establish a levy upon rateable property in a business improvement area in the Town of Bancroft.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby move into closed session pursuant to the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, Section 239 (2) (a) the security of the property of the municipality or local board, Section 239 (2) (c) proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, Section 239 (2) (d) labour relations or employee negotiations and Section 239 (2) (g) a matter in respect of which a council, board committee or other body may hold a closed meeting under another Act. 2001, c. 25, s. 239 (2).
