BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the open session agenda dated February 17th, 2022, as presented.

WHEREAS the Town of Bancroft is the recipient of the Dedicated Gas Tax Funds for Public Transportation Program; AND WHEREAS: the Town of Bancroft acts as the host municipality and receives financial contributions from the Municipality of Hastings Highlands and the Township of Wollaston; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained in the annual Letter of Agreement signed by the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft, Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby appoint Bancroft Community Transit as the official provider for public transit; AND FURTHER THAT: the funds received by the Town of Bancroft through the Dedicated Gas Tax Funds for Public Transportation Program be hereby flowed through the Town of Bancroft, to Bancroft Community Transit to support their transit program.
