BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the open session agenda dated December 10th, 2024, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the minutes of the meetings of Council held on November 12th, 2024 and November 26th, 2024, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the Minutes of the North Hastings Economic Development Committee meeting held on November 4th, 2024, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the Bancroft Business Improvement Area – Budget report, for information purposes only.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby appoint Wayne Wiggins as Deputy Mayor for the Town of Bancroft for the remainder of the municipal council term (concluding in 2026).

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft doeshereby adopt the following Standing Committee Schedule for 2025: Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Budget 22* - 18 - 20 - - - - - 18 - Recreation - 18 - 15 - 17 - - - 21 - - Public Works - 4 - 3* - - - 5 - 7 - -

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the presentation from John Crawford regarding the Lower Limb Preservation Demonstration Team, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby direct staff to purchase and install a 60" protective mat on the Millennium Park Bridge; AND FURTHER THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft authorize the expenditure of CCBF funds, to a maximum amount of $15,000 for the protective mat purchase.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft receives the proposed water and wastewater budgets for 2025 for information and discussion purposes; AND FURTHER THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft adopts the water and wastewater budget estimates for 2025, as presented; AND FURTHER THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve and adopt by By-Law the Rates, Fees and Charges for Water and Wastewater for 2025, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the letter dated December 3rd, 2024 from the Bancroft North Hastings Heritage Museum / Hastings North Tourism Services; AND FURTHER THAT: the Council direct that a continued financial contribution to Bancroft North Hastings Hastings Heritage Museum / Hastings North Tourism Services be considered through the budget deliberation process for 2025.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft receives the North Hastings Inspiration Place Library Construction - Project Update report, for information purposes.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the items listed under the Consent Agenda, items 15 (B) to 15 (E), be received by the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft, for information.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time and be finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding: By-Law No. 89-2024: Being a By-Law to execute an agreement between The Corporation of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands and the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft regarding a Boundary Road Agreement. By-Law No. 90-2024: Being a By-Law to Adopt the 2025 Municipal Water and Wastewater Budget Estimates for the Town of Bancroft. By-Law No. 91-2024: Being a By-Law to impose rates, fees and charges for Municipal Water and Wastewater services and to provide for the payment of rates, fees and charges and to provide for penalty and interest and to Repeal Schedule "A" and all Subsequent Schedule "A's" of By-Law No. 44-2006.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby move into closed session pursuant to the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, Section 239 (2) (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby direct staff to carry out all actions as approved in the December 10th, 2024, closed session of Council.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the meeting of Council held on December 10th, 2024 be hereby given a first, second and third reading, and be finally passed, signed, sealed and numbered By-Law 92-2024.
