Regular Council

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of the open session agenda dated May 10th, 2022, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby move into Public Meeting pursuant to the Planning Act for the purpose of hearing support and/or objections for re-zoning applications within the municipality.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby adjourn from public meeting and reconvene the regular meeting of Council.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of Zoning By-Law Amendment Application No. 001-2022 to rezone lands legally described as Lots 21, 22 & 23, Concession 6, Geographic Township of Dungannon, now Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, municipally known as 292 McGibbon Lake Road, from Rural (RU) Zone to Rural -Exception Fifteen (RU-15) Zone, and Rural (RU) Zone to Limited Service Residential (LSR) Zone.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve of Zoning By-Law Amendment Application No. 002-2022 to rezone lands legally described as Lot 18, Plan 21M-200, Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, municipally known as 23 Vanluven Lane, Residential Type One – Exception One (R1-1) Zone to Residential Type One - Exception Twenty (R1-20) Zone.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby accept title and assume as common and public highway that Part of Lot 16 and 17, Concession 16, Geographic Township of Dungannon, now Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, being more particularly described as: PARTS 2 and 3, Plan 21R-26089; municipally known as Holland Lake Road

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the Town of Bancroft Farmers' Market 2022 presentation from Fraser Young, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby appoint Fraser Young as the Market Manager for the 2022 Farmers' Market season.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve that the 2022 Farmers' Market be held at Riverside Park, as illustrated in the Attachment 1 of the staff report dated May 10th, 2022.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby approve that the Farmers' Market at Riverside Park be held on Saturdays during the period specified in By-Law No. 22-2018 n), between 9am and 1pm.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time and be finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk do sign and seal the same, any rule of this Council to the contrary notwithstanding: By-Law No. 45-2022: A By-Law to Amend Comprehensive Zoning By-Law No. 27-2006, As Amended By-Law No. 46-2022: A By-Law to Amend Comprehensive Zoning By-Law No. 27-2006, As Amended By-Law No. 47-2022: Being a By-Law assuming as a common and public highway that Part of Lot 16 and 17, Concession 16, Geographic Township of Dungannon, now Town of Bancroft, County of Hastings, more particularly described hereafter.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the meeting of Council held on May 10th, 2022 be hereby given a first, second and third reading, and be finally passed, signed, sealed and numbered By-Law No. 48-2022.

RESOLVED THAT the Regular Meeting of Council hereby close at 3:50 PM.
