Public Works Committee

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Public Works Committee does hereby approve of the open session agenda, dated February 4th, 2025, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby receive the letter dated January 7th, 2025 regarding the 2025 Tipping Fee Schedule, for discussion purposes.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: staff obtain sizing of Highlands Service's bins to quantify bin size on the adopted fee schedule.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby recommend the implementation of bag tags for all users, with a structured implementation; AND FURTHER THAT the residential fees be listed at $1.00, increasing by fifty cent increments annually until reaching $2.50 in 2028; AND FURTHER THAT the industrial, commercial and institutional (IC&I) fees be listed at $2.00, increasing by fifty cent increments annually until reaching $3.50 in 2028.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: staff investigate a bi weekly garbage collection service.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby recommend the addition of Limousine Licensing and Regulation provisions be added to the Town of Bancroft's existing Taxi By-Law, for Council consideration.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby receive the Capital Projects for 2025 topic, for discussion purposes only.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby receive the Town of Bancroft Parking topic, for discussion purposes only.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: looking at small scale for Parking By-Law to include handicap provisions.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Public Works Committee does hereby receive the Public Works Buildings update, for information purposes only.

RESOLVED THAT the Public Works Committee does hereby adjourn at 5:40 PM.
