Finance and Administration

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance and Administration Committee does hereby approve of the open session agenda, dated January 8th, 2019, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Finance and Administration Committee of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft does hereby receive the Tax sale properties with no tenders’ report; AND further that the Finance and Administration Committee recommended to Council that the Town of Bancroft proceed to write-off and vest the three properties associated with Files 16-14 to 16-16, as it is unlikely any one will bid on these properties; AND further that the Finance and Administration Committee recommend to Council that the Town write off the outstanding taxes associated with Files 16-05 and 16-08 and that staff proceed with re-advertising the properties for sale through the tax sale process.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Finance and Administration Committee recommended to Council that the Municipal Office be closed between 1 to 2 pm daily for lunch.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Records Management System Implementation report be received for information purposes only.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Finance and Administration Committee receive the 2019 Strategic Priorities document as amended to include a Financial Software review.

That staff be directed to prepare a draft 2109 budget with a 0% increase in the levy (over 2018)

RESOLVED THAT the Finance and Administration Committee does hereby adjourn at 6:50pm.
