Committee of the Whole

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Committee of the Whole does hereby approve of the open session agenda, dated June 27th, 2023, as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of the Whole receives the second half of the Hastings Street Sewer Extension & Water Distribution System Assessment prepared by Greer Galloway Group Inc., dated February 27, 2023, for information purposes only at this time; AND FURTHER request additional information based on the addition of a new line (2016) which was not accounted for in the initial evaluation of the system; AND FURTHER account for possible changes to the standpipe; AND FURTHER request that Staff continue to collect and prepare data as previously resolved regarding the camera imaging, smoke and dye testing of the wastewater system.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of the Whole does hereby receive and file the June 22, 2023 report from the By-Law Enforcement Officer.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of the Whole hereby recommends to Council that Treasury Staff to vest roll #1262-064-015-09200 and roll #1262-064-015-09250, write off all taxes and penalties to date on the account, and any other associated procedures required to complete vesting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Town of Bancroft Committee of the Whole does hereby recommend that the Staff prepared forms be approved for use, non-resident user fees be implemented, and the associated procedures be recommended for approval by Council, with amendments to the rates as discussed and amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Committee of the Whole does hereby receive the report for Dispatch Change; AND FURTHER RESOLVE THAT the Committee of the Whole does recommend Council direct the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft and the Corporation of the City of St. Catharines to provide emergency communication services (Fire Department Dispatch) until December 31, 2037.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Committee of the Whole does hereby adjourn at 5:12pm.
