Committee of Adjustment

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of the minutes of the Committee of Adjustment meeting held on September 22, 2020, as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby elect Councillor Wayne Wiggins to the position of Chair for the 2021 Committee term.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment hereby appoint Robin Tait to the position of Secretary-Treasurer for the 2021 Committee term.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of Minor Variance application, Application No. MV-002-2020 to reduce the minimum Front Yard setback from 7.5 metres to 3.05 metres, subject to conditions as determined by the Committee.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of Minor Variance application, Application No. MV-001-2021 to reduce the minimum Interior Side Yard setback from 2 metres to 1.2 metres, subject to conditions as determined by the Committee.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of Minor Variance application, Application No. MV-002-2021 to reduce the minimum Gross Floor Area from 74.3 m² to 67.63 m² and to reduce the minimum Front Yard setback from 20 metres to 13.5 metres, subject to conditions as determined by the Committee.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of Minor Variance application, Application No. MV-003-2021 to to reduce the setback from Watercourses and Waterbodies, from 30 m (98.4 ft) to 12.2 m (40 ft) to permit an addition to the existing dwelling and from 30 m (98.4 ft) to 27.43 m (90 ft) to permit the construction of a Detached Private Garage , and that the application be subject to the following condition: That prior to the issuing of a building permit(s) that the recommendations of the Environmental Impact Statement (EISt) and the Addendum to the EISt, as prepared by Oakridge Environmental Limited, be implemented to the satisfaction of the Town of Bancroft to mitigate potential negative impacts to the surrounding waterbody/watercourse. and any other conditions as determined by the Committee.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Committee of Adjustment does hereby approve of Minor Variance application, Application No. MV-004-2021 to reduce the minimum front yard setback from 20 metres to 10.66 metres, subject to conditions as determined by the Committee.

RESOLVED THAT the Committee of Adjustment does hereby adjourn at 3:49 PM.
